Liplyn Academy attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains which data we collect, why we process it, how long we keep it and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are

2. Which data do we collect?
- Name and email address when you enrol in a training
- Billing details upon payment (address, company name, VAT number)
- Payment details via our payment provider (Stripe / iDEAL)
- Platform usage data (course progress, logins)
- Technical data (IP address, browser) via cookies
3. What do we use your data for?
- Delivering training and certificates
- Processing payments and invoicing
- Sending service and update emails about the course
- Improving our website and services
- Meeting legal obligations
4. How long do we keep data?
We keep personal data no longer than necessary. Billing data is kept for 7 years per tax retention rules. Account data is deleted on request or after 2 years of inactivity.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with processors that help us deliver our services (such as our hosting provider, payment provider and email provider). We have signed processing agreements with all of them.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to your data. Send a request to Academy@Liplyn.com. You may also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and regular backups.
